Today’s release includes the following updates:

bugfix

• Fixed an issue where appointments a plugin created or rescheduled showed the appointment’s provider, rather than the user who made the change, in the scheduling history. Plugin-created appointments also showed a duplicate scheduling entry. The history now names the user whose action triggered the plugin, and each step appears once.

sdk

• Two new embedded applications let plugins control whether a provider menu item or panel bar icon appears for each user, patient, and page, using a visible() method:
  • ProviderMenuApplication places an entry at the top or bottom of the provider menu.
  • PanelApplication places an icon in the panel bar or the app drawer, inside or outside a patient chart.
